Find inspiration for your own home landscaping here on this 5-acre site, planted in 1999 with more than 200 trees. A specialty bed of unusual ornamental trees, surrounded by resting benches, adds further flair to the setting. Costs for the plant materials and their installation were funded through a 90%-10% partnership between Montgomery County and Hatfield Township. The County's 90% share was through its Municipal Tree Planting Grant Program, a component of Round One of the County Open Space Program. After more than a decade of growth, the trees show the forms and the features people can expect of plants they may want for their own properties. Arboretum plants are labeled, enabling guests to know the specifics about their personal favorites.
